This calculator was created using JavaScript in Storyline for a course about the new bonus program the company rolled out.

When I was first put on the project, the information surrounding the new program and the calculations for bonuses were thick with accounting language and were very complicated to understand by the general learner population.

By working with the CFO and various accounting VPs, I was able to break down how the company determined bonus eligibility and calculate individual bonuses, then created scenarios with different metrics. As a capstone, I developed this calculator where a learner could calculate their potential bonus by inputting their anticipated gross earnings, how many goals their location achieve, and how much their location might earn. Because this course was rolled out prior to the launch of the program, there was very little confusion surrounding the new bonuses and it rolled out smoothly.
